Cleaning and Disinfecting for the Greater Orlando Region

Temporary or Long-Term Onsite Managerial Support for Your Cleaning Department

Office

Our cleaning process uses the best practices from the healthcare industry, and we make them standard in all office settings. We feel that strong infection control processes and increased auditory controls should be standard for every industry.

Our practices include:

  1. PPE, including N95 masks, nitrile gloves, and, when needed, liquid and particle protection coveralls and shoe covers

  2.  Frequent, documented performance inspections and ATP surface sampling and reporting (ATP sampling available in frequencies of three or more times per week or upon request before initial cleaning

  3. Vacuums with advanced filtration to help capture particles and minimize re-aerosolization reintroducing them into the air

  4. Microfiber grips on all our rags and mopping systems to ensure all dirt and dust is picked up, which helps contain particles

  5. A bucket-less mopping system to reduce spreading germs through dirty bucket usage and avoid spills. An onboard spray system applies floor cleaner

  6. Color-coded rags to help prevent cross-contamination

  7.  Branded uniforms

  8. New rags not used at other locations (available on cleaning frequencies of three or more times per week or can be built into any frequency upon request before initial cleaning)

  9. Laundry oxidizing treatment

  10.  Being insured, registered, and bonded

We offer service packages that can include electrostatic disinfecting for routine maintenance or on-demand cleaning appointments.

Home

We are committed to helping you reduce allergens in your home. Our equipment selection and cleaning process is designed to capture and remove dust rather than reintroduce particles into the air. Our vacuums have four levels of filtration, including two HEPA filters.

We track and communicate requests in what we call a “preference profile.” This is the way we keep track of how you want things left in your home after our cleaning services. Whether certain doors are used, blinds are left in a specific way, or rugs are left with the patterns facing a certain direction, our goal is to be consistent in meeting expectations, and this is one tool that we use to deliver on that.

We also use a customized checklist based on your preferences and desired frequency. This helps with consistency, and when finished, leaves things the way you want them.

Other highlights include:

  1. PPE, including N95 masks, surgical masks, and nitrile gloves

  2. Disinfected equipment after each cleaning

  3. Branded uniforms

  4. Insured, registered, and bonded

  5. Shoe covers worn upon request

Daycare

Protecting those who are most vulnerable in our community is our core service. Besides our seniors, that would be our children.

We create a customized checklist to organize and track our routine as a commitment to our standards.

In order to provide you with peak cleanliness, especially in areas with children involved, we feature the following:

  1. New rags not shared in other locations (with three or more times weekly cleaning frequencies or available upon request before initial cleaning)

  2. Germ-fighting, powerful prewash oxidizing treatment for rags and mop heads

  3. Color-coded rags to help reduce cross-contamination risks

We have flexible cleaning options that can be increased to control an outbreak or dialed back for a routine service. Depending on the frequency, we can include a certain amount of electrostatic disinfecting that can be used on a routine maintenance or on-demand cleaning appointments.

Our Tersano cleaning program promotes safer standards, and it is an option we offer alongside our traditional cleaning solutions. Our dispenser converts tap water into a germ-fighting sanitizer that can also be used for everyday cleaning and deodorizing without the concern of harsh odors and residues. Data from pathogen reports shows the powerful germ-fighting abilities and the comparative study vs. bleach shows outstanding performance. The science behind it is simple; ordinary tap water is processed through a pair of units, first to be stabilized and then to produce ozone. This is achieved by applying a large potential (4,500 volts of electricity) to convert oxygen molecules, O2, to stabilized aqueous ozone (O3). The extra oxygen atom creates a safe-to-use, germ-fighting oxidizer that can be utilized as a cleaner, deodorizer, and sanitizer.

Tersano has an extensive list of regulatory compliance. If you are looking for a cleaning system for your facility with compliance or approval from Green Seal Certification standards GS-37 and GS-53, EPA, FDA , USDA National Organic Program, HACCP International food safe cleaning and sanitizing, Boma Best or LEED, contact us for more information.

We also offer evaluations of your center as a standalone service. Our most valuable tool to help determine proper infection control standards is our surface testing (ATP, also known as adenosine triphosphate metering). With this service, we test the level of energy molecules that can fuel the growth of pathogens and other contaminants. Bacteria, for example, can spread and replicate itself on the energy of ATP. This process can be used as an indicator to help determine if a toy or a surface has been properly cleaned.

Additionally, we can recommend cleaning solutions to use, check for residue-free application, and register on the desired EPA list N. We also use florescent/UV tracer markings to test that surfaces and toys are being cleaned regularly.

Visual Survey:

To help prevent the spread of infectious diseases, there are standards for laundering and how to handle cleaning things that may contain bodily fluids, including bloodborne pathogens. This is a topic that should be discussed when cleaning both homes and offices, considering that rags are coming into our space from other locations.

Cleaning services can come in contact with bloodborne pathogens on a regular basis, and proper laundering of rags is a must for every infection-control plan.

While some are comfortable only taking minimal precautions and treating things as infectious when they have reason to believe they are infectious, we utilize universal precautions.

Universal precautions means that we treat everything as if it is contaminated to help prevent the spread of infectious diseases. In other words, we take infection control very seriously. Which is why we provide new rags that are not used in other locations for all contracted commercial cleaning with a minimum frequency of three times per week. Rags for your location are labeled and contained separately.

We have also added a powerful prewash oxidizing treatment for rags and mop heads. This is an intensive germ-killing process that is often not considered when using microfiber cloths, as it will reduce their life expectancy. We find it necessary to prioritize safe practices, and we simply replenish the rags as needed.

In addition, we use the industry standard of a color-coded rag system to reduce the risk for cross-contamination.

Electrostatic Disinfecting

Electrostatic technology is an effective disinfection tool provided that the EPA-registered disinfectant is appropriately labeled for use with the designated machine. Use of incompatible chemicals may result in the sprayer diluting the concentration and effectiveness of the disinfectant. Following the guidelines of designated chemicals to guarantee that the stated efficacy or germ-kill claims will be achieved is critical.

Our Electrostatic Devices

Our electrostatic devices are built by the trusted brand Clorox and paired with an EPA-registered disinfectant that they produce specially for the device. Electrostatic sprayers have different levels of performance in which the droplet size is a critical factor. Misters or foggers with small droplets must take added precautions to avoid re-aerosolizing particles, particularly given that smaller particles are more readily inhaled. Our electrostatic sprayers have medium-sized droplets along with a strong electrical charge and flow rate, which is the gold standard in the industry. This droplet size is also sufficient to help minimize the reintroduction of potential virus particles into the air.

Additionally, the strong electrostatic charge will make the disinfectant attracted to surfaces and provide wraparound coverage, including cracks and crevices.

Contact us for more information on how we can build electrostatic disinfecting into your cleaning routine.

Surface Testing:

Our hygiene ATP meter provides a rapid evaluation of the level of contaminants on a surface. Adenosine triphosphate, commonly referred to as ATP, is an energy-carrying molecule found in the cells of living things and is the source for bacteria spreading and replicating. High levels of ATP on a surface could indicate high levels of illness-causing pathogens.

The procedure involves the collection of a sample swab from a high-traffic area that is inserted into a light-based analysis device to measure the level of ATP.

The software will collect, analyze, and report the data in easy-to-read formats. This will allow us to track contamination spikes per area and take corrective actions.

Preference Profile:

No matter the size of your business, we track and communicate requests in our preference profile. This is a consistent reminder about the way you like to see things when you walk in. Whether certain doors are used or blinds are left a specific way, our goal is to be consistent in meeting expectations, and this is one tool that we use to deliver on that.

Tersano System

We are pleased to introduce an innovation in the cleaning industry and an option we offer alongside our traditional cleaning solutions. Used for everyday cleaning, deodorizing, and sanitizing without the concern for harsh odors and residues and with powerful efficacy data on pathogen reports that showcases germ-fighting abilities, Tersano is a game-changer in the cleaning industry, and the science behind it is simple. Ordinary tap water is processed through a pair of units, first to be stabilized and then to produce ozone. This is achieved by applying a large potential (4,500 volts of electricity) to convert oxygen molecules, O2, to stabilized aqueous ozone (O3). Hygiene ATP Meter to Measure Surface Contaminants

Surface Testing

Our hygiene ATP meter provides a rapid, quantitative evaluation of the level of contaminants on a surface. Adenosine triphosphate, commonly referred to as ATP, is an energy-carrying molecule found in the cells of living things and is the source for bacteria spreading and replicating. High levels of ATP on a surface could indicate high levels of illness-causing pathogens.

Collection and Testing Procedure

The procedure involves the collection of a pen-sized sample swab from a high-traffic area that is inserted into a light-based analysis device to measure the level of ATP. While this does not identify the specific strands of bacteria on a surface, we are directly measuring the amount of energy-carrying molecules that bacteria need to grow. Since ATP is much smaller than mold spore, virus, and bacteria cells, we are measuring subcellular-sized contaminants and residues that are normally not visible.

Our Approach

Our process enables quantitative testing of the level of energy molecules that fuel the growth of illness-causing bacteria, yeast, fungus, and other various contaminants. If dangerous levels are detected, we use this as an indicator to adjust the frequency or process of cleaning. Including ATP metering into our cleaning program allows us to provide a data-driven assessment of our effectiveness. The data will be analyzed automatically by the software and converted into valuable graphs to help us track and understand trends in your workspace.

Performance Data Reports

We use an evidence-based approach to report on performance by using an analytics program to organize and track data from our surface testing. This is one of our most comprehensive forms of quality control. Our ATP meter will read a sample of a swabbed surface and organize the data in easy-to-read formats. This allows us to track contamination spikes per area and take corrective actions. We also have sample-testing plans that allow us to input the layout of your building and have random areas assigned to test and create a testing routine to cover 100% of your building. These insights can prove to be critical for maximizing decision-making.

We use:

  1. EPA list N-registered disinfectants

  2. HEPA vacuums

  3. Bucket-less mopping system

  4. Color-coded microfiber rags
